MeshCrunch stores three things in your browser, listed individually below. None is used for advertising and none follows you to another site. You choose whether we store any of them, and you can change that answer on this page at any time.

What declining actually does
Session identity. Declining means we never create the anonymous session, so the workspace and the free browser tools are unavailable — an upload with no session cannot be attributed to you, and the tools sit behind the same gate for consistency. Every public page, including this one and all the policies, works normally.
Anonymous page counts. Declining means the analytics script is never loaded. Nothing else changes: it is not a condition of using the product, and pairing it with access would make any "agreement" to it meaningless.
Analytics, specifically
The public website can count page views through Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and builds no profile, and Google Analytics, which does set a cookie. Neither is used inside the signed-in workspace.
The Google tag is present on every page, but it is told to store nothing until measurement is allowed — it opens in a denied state and is only ever raised from there. Vercel Web Analytics is not loaded at all until then.
How you are asked depends on where you are. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland nothing is allowed until you choose. Elsewhere, continuing to use the site is taken as agreement, and you can turn measurement off here at any time.
Blocking storage in your browser
You can also block these at the browser level rather than here. The effect is the same: without the anonymous-session cookie an upload cannot be associated with you, and without the sign-in cookie you cannot stay signed in. The consent record itself is stored locally, so clearing site data makes us ask again.
